Located on a secluded island, deep in the wilderness of northern Saskatchewan Canada, lies our three story lodge.
Our lodge is equipped with a full dining area, tackle shop, kitchen, lounge and bar, computer and library room.
Hand crafted by Cree and Dene first nations, our cabins at Hatchet Lake Lodge give a warm, welcoming feeling. Each cabin is equipped with wood burning stoves, running water and hot showers. We offer couples cabins with king sized beds as well as two and four bedroom cabins with queen sized beds and two bathrooms with hot showers. It has been a Hatchet Lake tradition for many years for guests to awake to a warm cabin on cool mornings.
We at Hatchet Lake Lodge believe that nothing comes close to the meals that grandma used to make. We offer a hearty breakfast full of bacon, eggs, ham, French toast, pancakes and of course our signature Red River cereal.
Dinner is full of fresh bread, meats, vegetables and dessert. We offer full bar service and we’ll be happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements you may have.
At midday, you will enjoy an unforgettable Hatchet Lake Ritual: a delicious shore lunch!
We offer a fully equipped exercise facility that can be found in Cabin 15, which is just off the board walk. If you would rather take a brisk walk or a longer hike, we offer walking trails that crisscross the island.
