Hatchet Lake Lodge is truly remote, but we’ve designed the journey to be simple and seamless. Fly directly from Saskatoon into our private 6,000-foot gravel runway, just minutes from the lodge. With no floatplane legs or shuttle transfers required, you’ll arrive quickly and comfortably and be ready to fish in no time.
Charter Flights

Whether you’re arriving on one of our scheduled charter flights from Saskatoon or choosing a private charter, getting to Hatchet Lake Lodge is straightforward and well coordinated. Our scheduled flights travel directly from Saskatoon to Hatchet Lake Lodge. For guests combining a stay at Hatchet with our sister property, Arctic Lodges, we also coordinate transfers between the two lodges, followed by the return journey to Saskatoon. From departure to arrival, our team takes care of the details, so all you need to do is settle in and enjoy the trip north.
Private Aircraft
Fly yourself to adventure.
Private pilots are welcome to fly directly into Hatchet Lake Lodge using our private aerodrome, featuring a 6,000-foot maintained gravel runway. Flexible arrival and departure times allow for custom trip lengths, while privately developed instrument flight procedures—designed and maintained by JetPro—provide added reliability for approved operators.
