What to Pack

All you need for an incredible trip.

When packing for a trip to Hatchet Lake Lodge, a little preparation goes a long way. The guide below outlines what to bring to stay comfortable on the water, around the lodge and in changing northern conditions.

Weather Considerations

Dress for the conditions.

Summer weather at Hatchet Lake Lodge is well suited to long, enjoyable days on the water. While early June mornings can be cool, daytime temperatures warm quickly, and July and August regularly bring comfortable to warm conditions, with many days reaching the mid-70s to low-80s°F. Packing layers is still recommended, and a high-quality rain suit is essential—not only for rain, but also for wind and spray when traveling across open water.
